Location

Zamboanga City is located at 06° 54' N Latitude and 122° 04' E Longitude at the western tip of the Estern Mindanao Peninsula facing the Basilan Strait.  Its Hinterland road network is linked to the main road traversing the eastern side of the Peninsula to Misamis province and the rest of   Mindanao.

Access Road The main port gate is located at R.T. Lim Boulevard.  There is an auxiliary gate which serves as an entry/exit point for passengers and pedestrians located near the passenger terminal shed at the eastern end of the marginal wharf.
PORT FACILITIES
Berth/Draft

320.44m new quay with 55 pieces trapezoidal hollow rubber fenders, 15 pieces 60-tons bollards and control depth of 10m below MLLW;

Rehabilitated T-head pier 18m wide x 178m long with 25 pieces rubber dock fenders, 150 pieces used truck tire fenders, 25 pieces mooring bitts and control depth of 7m below MLLW;

Ferry pier 20m wide x 41.40m long of reinforced concrete with 13 pieces 60-ton bollards and control depth of 5m below MLLW;

Finger pier 9m wide x 54m long. An R.C. piled marginal wharf 284m long with an apron 35m wide.

Transit Shed

Close transit shed (Container Freight Station) 40m x 126m with 2 units office space 6m x 15m

Passenger Terminals

24m x 40m passenger terminal shed

Storage Areas 5,400 sq. m. open storage area, a container marshaling yard 100m x 137m and a 6,200 sq. m. unpaved area.

Pilotage

Compulsory for foreign going vessels and domestic trade vessels over 500 GRT. Twenty-four (24) hour advance notice is required. Serviced by Zamboanga Harbor Pilots’ Association.

Water Supply PMO-Zamboanga provides 24-hour watering services. The port’s water tank has a total full capacity of 1,050 cu.m.
